Customer Business

Tahnee Saucedo owns and runs a retail store in Saint Cloud, Florida.  The store sells a variety of goods from clothes to furniture.

Liquidation Problem

“I had a truckload of jewelry sitting in my garage that I didn’t know what to do with,” said Tahnee.

Her primary objective was to liquidate the items, and to do it fast.  The timing wasn’t ideal – it was right after Christmas, when retail sales are typically slow.

As she had never liquidated goods before, Tahnee didn’t know what would be the best way to liquidate her items.  She found Via Trading through the Internet.  “I went online, and did a search.  The Via Trading website kept popping up, so I decided to contact them,” said Tahnee.

Solution

Since Tahnee had no prior experience liquidating goods, Via Trading representatives worked with her to figure out the best way to package, market, and sell her jewelry.  All Via Trading customers, from first-time to experienced sellers, are encouraged to take advantage of the free marketing and packaging advice offered by Via Trading.

“I was very impressed with how they handled everything,” commented Tahnee.  “They recommended to put the jewelry in 5 different loads, and advised me on how to separate and box the items, which I would not have known on my own.”

After Tahnee sent Via Trading stock and actual photos of the items, Via Trading marketed the loads through their domestic and international channels.  “The process was easy and fast,” said Tahnee.  “The best part was that I shipped most of them directly to customers from my garage.  I only had to send 2 loads to Via Trading’s warehouse, because they were going overseas.”

Despite the unfavorable, post-Christmas timing, the loads sold faster than Tahnee expected.  It’s not uncommon for Via Trading customers to liquidate goods faster with Via Trading, as opposed to other resale channels.  Via Trading has a wide reach and markets goods using their domestic, as well as international resources.

“It was a great experience,” Tahnee commented.  “I tell everyone about them.  I’ll use them again in a heartbeat, if I need to liquidate anything else. “
